Ok,
1) You open two photos, I chose two very similar ones, like similar poses. I pick these ones: x.
2) Then you paste one of them in a document and I applied a black and white gradient map, I sharpen it with filter>sharpen>sharpen. Then I used topaz clean, and sharpen again, then topaz again.
3) I pasted the other photo above this black and white one and I choose Screen instead of Normal.
4) I unify the image and I copy it, then I paste it in a document, then: follow this tips: x).
5) I paste a texture above the edit. Done :)
no you’re not! really! I wish I could help you more :( I’m not sure of what your problem is! When you try to open the video in photoshop you can’t find it? I don’t actually know, I only can open .mp4 videos. Try to download with keepvid in .mp4 format. And then you save it in a new folder only for videos. Try with that and see what happens. You have quick time already installed, right?
When you see this, the option of lighten :) sorry, my photoshop is in spanish! haha.
Gif tutorial asked by anon
1) You must download a video (better in high quality), you can use keepvid.com, or dvd and screencap with kmplayer, you have another programs, like, youtube downloader HD, or video downloader.
Extra: you can use free video converter to convert 720p movies .avi to mp4.
2) You open photoshop, I have CS5 one, but you can use CS3 and 4 too! Then you go to menu>archive>import>video frames to layers, you select the video and then you will see a window like this one, you must have those things selected. And instead of 2, you can put 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 (too short with 7), to select the part of the video you wanna gif you must stay pressed shit+right-arrow.
Extra: if you screencap a video, you must go to menu>archive>scripts>upload files to stack.
3) You will have the video selected. Now, you will see, maybe the image is too big, considering tumblr accepts just 500px, 245px, 160px. So, you can go to menu>image>image size. And then you’ll have this. You change weigh to 500px.
4) Well now you will sharpen every frame with menu>filter>sharpen>sharpen, (there’s a script for that but I don’t actually know how to use it, sorry), you can or not do that, I always do it cos it makes them more clarify.
5) Now you can make the gif go slower than it goes. You can change it when you go to this by selecting the whole frames. You can select 0,2 (I always choose that one, or you can make a personal time).
6) Now you will color the gif! With a .psd :) You must have the psd downloaded in your computer, then, you will open it by menu>archive>open> (select your psd color).
7) You will select the group of the .psd archive (preview here: x) and transport it to your gif (you must put the gruop above the whole frames of your gif) like this: x.
8) Now you’ll go to menu>archive>save for web and devices. You’ll see this and you always must check your gif is under 1MB. Mine is 578KB, if your gif is weigh than 1MB you must delete frames, change the colors, and go up your web setting. Or you can make it black and white.
9) DONE! You have the gif:

no problem.
Sure.
First I open a new file (250x250px)
Then, I color the background of it with this tool (with the color you want of course)
Then you paste the photo you wanna cut in the background
You use this tool to cut the extra background white around Kristen
Then you go to layer>fill layer>uniform color and you select the color you want
Then you select menu>layer>create clipping mask
Then your photo should look like this:
Then you select with the Kristen layer, make a copy and paste it, but up the fill layer.
Then you color with a psd (I always sharpen the image)
You flatten image and you go to this tool
Select this one
Select the image
Then you click on the image>make selection
You go to menu>selection>invert and menu>edit>cut :) and then you save it! :D Im terrible expaining this kind of things, so if you didnt understand something you tell me :)
